I think we've all wondered at times if we should just 'settle'.
Settle for a job that's uninspiring, settle for poor health (because change is difficult) or settle for a relationship that is unfulfilling.
I've certainly wondered this at times, and also wondered if perhaps the idea that we can 'have it all' is simply the naivety of youth, and with advancing age and wisdom perhaps we lose that and realise that we simply have to make do with what we have.
But events usually transpire that remind me that each and every one of us can be fulfilled and inspired by the things, situations and people that we attract into our lives (and choose to keep 'on board'!)
What we lose with the naivety of youth is the idea that we can have everything that we can imagine.
What we gain with the wisdom of the age is the confidence that we can have everything that we need.
